Until recently, our home movie digitizing services were no different than the industry standard. That service included a transfer to an mp4 video file with delivery on a thumb drive. In the past year, however, we started hearing things like “I’ve misplaced my thumb drive” or “the thumb drive no longer works”.
Of course, the next question was “Do you still have my files?” We didn’t. The time we allocated to keep them had passed. This didn’t sit well with us, so we changed our process.
Today, we still digitize your family movies to an mp4 video file, but that is only our first step. We no longer consider the job done by handing you a thumb drive or sending a basic download file.
